        • Bilhin ang refrigerator na may mas mataas na Energy Efficiency Factor (EEF) label. Mas mahusay at mas matipid sa konsumo sa kuryente ang may mas mataas na EEF.
          Huwag hayaang kumapal nang labis sa 1/4 pulgada ang elo sa freezer. I-defrost nang regular ang ref. Ang yelong bumabalot sa freezer ay nagsisilbing ''insulating blanket'' na sanhi upang mag-overtime ang motor nito. Huwag itong hayaang nakabukas nang matagal. Ang lumalabas na lamig nito ay magiging dagdag na trabaho sa compressor.
