          Kagaya po ng nakasaad sa June bill natin, tumaas ng mahigit piso per kilowatt hour ang Generation Charge ng kuryente sa naturang buwan. Ito ay lubhang nakadagdag pa sa  pangkalahatang mataas na konsumo natin sa kuryente. Ang mataas nating konsumo ay bunsod pa rin ng patuloy nating paggamit sa mga appliances na nagpapalamig. Mainit pa rin ang panahon kahit pumasok na ang tag-ulan.

          Ang pansamatalang pagtaas sa Generation Charge ay dulot ng pagpalya at pagkasira ng maraming Generating Plants, bagay na nakaapekto sa supply ng kuryente sa maraming Distribution Utilities (DUs) na sinabayan pa ng mataas nating pangangailangan (demand) sa kuryente. Ito ay nagresulta sa mas mataas na presyo ng kuryente per kwh sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market. Dito binibili ng mga DUs ang bahagi ng kanilang supply para ipamahagi sa mga konsyumer.

           Ang tumaas na Generation Charge na pass through charge ay ibabayad din ng SFELAPCO sa pinagbilhan natin ng kuryente. WALA PONG KAUKULANG PAGTAAS SA DISTRIBUTION CHARGE NG SFELAPCO SA LOOB NG MGA NAKALIPAS NA MARAMING TAON.

          Hinihikayat po natin ang lahat na patuloy tayong magtipid sa ating konsumo sa kuryente sa gitna ng banta ng kukulangan sa sapat na supply ng kuryente. Ugaliin po nating patayin at bunutin ang plug ng mga appliances na hindi ginagamit.
